Backpacking Packraft

The Surveyor packraft is created to be as lightweight as possible while still retaining the iconic MRS streamlined hull. The centered seating position optimizes the boat's control ability, and the redesigned backrest provides even support while maintaining breathability. MRS opted to prioritize backpacking experience, and the Surveyor is a comfortable and capable packraft that is still lightweight.

Two colors are avaible:

The white Surveyor packraft is made from a special ultralight material that reflects sunlight, which helps to keep the packraft cool in hot weather. As a result, there is less air pressure fluctuations when get in and out of water.

The olive Surveyor packraft has a slightly thicker coating than the white one, which makes it more scratch-resistant. Olive is also a good hiding color, which can be an advantage if you are paddling in areas where you want to be more discreet.

The Lightest Packraft with a Spraydeck

The Surveyor is now available in a spraydeck version, making it even more suitable for use in autumn and winter. In keeping with the original intention of lightweight design, the new spraydeck is lighter and easier to store. The centered seating position makes it paddling more comfortable.

Three states of the spraydeck:

Open

When not in use, the spraydeck can be fully rolled up to the bow.

Semi-open

You can choose to use just the front part of sprey deck. This effectively prevents water from getting in while still offers good ventilation.

Fully enclosed

Fully mount the spray deck for all-round waterproofing.

Ultralight Packraft

The Minnow is an ultra-light and easy-to-fold packraft made from ultra-thin coated fabric. It weighs less than 4 lb with a fin attached. Despite its lightweight design, the Minnow features front and rear centered seating, which helps it paddle through water more easily. The bottom material of the packraft covers some of the most vulnerable parts of the hull, making it more durable.

MRS Nitrogen is the world's lightest packraft. It is made of 70D ripstop nylon fabric coated with TPU materials, and the floor fabric is 210D. Packrafters who are looking for an extreme lightweight raft should consider trying it out. The standard shipment of Nitrogen excludes the seat, backrest, and skeg.
